Condos for Sale
A condominium, or condo for short, is a type of joint ownership of real estate property, usually housing. The housing is usually a multi unit dwelling. The buyer of a condo owns the individual unit, but the common areas, like hallways, elevators and other facilities, are owned jointly by all unit or condo owners.
Condos could also be individual detached dwellings in a planned neighbourhood or a gated community.
A homeowners association, consisting of all the members of the community, manages the common areas usually through a board of directors. This board of directors is elected by the individual members.
